Required equipment

Here's what you need to use depending on your vehicle:

You can use your own equipment, however, we will need to verify that it meets our standards and size. Your own equipment must be non-branded.

You should not use branded equipment from other companies except for Just Eat.

If you lack mandatory equipment or use branded equipment from another delivery platform, you risk:

  • Losing your delivery rewards for the week

  • Affecting your CPS score

  • Losing your place on the platform

Minimum equipment sizes

Bike

  • A thermally insulated backpack or thermal bag (on a rack)

  • Minimum dimensions: 35cm Wide x 35cm Depth x 70cm Height

Moped

  • Either a thermally insulated backpack or thermal bag (for a top-box)

  • Thermal bag minimum dimensions: 40cm Wide X 30cm Depth X 40cm High

  • Thermal Backpack minimum dimensions: 35cm Wide x 35cm Depth x 55cm Height

Car

  • A thermally insulated bag with minimum dimensions: 40cm Wide X 30cm Depth X 40cm High

Buying Stuart equipment

There’s no upfront cost to buy Stuart equipment - anything you choose during your onboarding will be deducted from your payment statements once you start delivering.

Blue Stuart Roll Top Thermal Backpack: £35

The Roll Top is the ideal delivery bag for bike couriers. The backpack is made of a waterproof tarpaulin with a thermal lining inside. It has a reflective logo on the front for extra visibility, along with mesh side pockets, and a front pocket for storage.

Stuart Motorbike and Car Thermal Bag: £27

The Thermal Bag can be used by either a motorbike courier (if you have a top box) or by car couriers. It is an insulated bag with a tarpaulin outer layer and has side handles for comfortable carrying.

Stuart Moped Backpack: £27

The Moped Backpack can be used by motorbike couriers who have a top case (or don’t have a top box). It has a rigid structure and adjustable height shelf divider to cater for different package sizes. It is thermally insulated and has reflective detailing for increased visibility on the road.

Stuart High Vis Jacket: £35

A multilayered waterproof jacket to 15,000mm and breathable to 10,000mm. Along with the grey reflective fabric along the sleeves, the logos are also reflective making this great for visibility. It has a hidden hood with velcro closer, a chest pocket, and two side pockets. Plus - a reflective lycra cuff and thumb hole to ensure water doesn’t get through.

Just Eat equipment

Expandable Rucksack: £5.99

Highly effective thermal insulation, the ability to expand, and internal dividers make Just Eat's delivery rucksack a great tool no matter the type of food you're delivering. It's easy to clean with a simple wipe down, so it can handle the worst of spills too. It also includes T-shaped removable velcro divider for keeping your orders separated.

Large Hot Food Bag: £5.99

An insulated hot food delivery bag that features a 22mm foam and foil lining to keep the bag well insulated and retains heat. It stays above 66ºC for 2 hours. The lid has a zip fastening to ensure tight closure of the bag, and the zip is also waterproof. Pockets on the sides to keep drinks and any additional items for delivery. It has long handles with velcro fasteners to secure the handles together. It includes a removable velcro divider to separate delivery orders.

Just Eat Standard Jacket: £5.99 or free with any Just Eat bag purchase

Fully zipped lightweight waterproof over-jacket made with a waterproof coating and taped seams to keep the rain and wind out. Waterproof zips with storm flaps to front zip and side pockets for added protection. Rubber/velcro cuff adjusters. Underarm zips for added ventilation. Fleece-lined collar for extra comfort. It is a waterproof jacket to 12,000mm and Breathable to 7,000 MVP.

Delivery fee

The delivery fee for equipment is £5.

Paying for equipment

You will choose your equipment during onboarding. There is no upfront cost for Stuart equipment: all items are deducted from your weekly payment in small increments. The weekly charge will never be higher than £35 or 50% of your earnings.

Any deductions are clearly stated in your payment statement and will show how much is left to pay. If equipment is returned in a good condition, the amount will be returned to your account.
