The tax year runs from 6th April - 5th April. The last tax year started on 6 April 2020 and ended on 5 April 2021. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will request to receive your tax return and any money you owe by the deadline. These are shown below:
To help accommodate this, we offer Stuwies an annual payment statement for the previous tax year in PDF format. In April 2021 we will offer the annual statement for April 2020 - April 2021. This will include an annual summary of your earnings with Stuart. Annual payment statements will be automatically issued in the last week of April and sent to your Stuart registered email address.
What will it look like?
The new annual statement is a one page PDF document which breaks down your earnings throughout the last tax year. This includes all earnings from April 6th 2020 until April 4th 2021 as the next payment week starts on the 5th of April. Please read this article on how to access your payment statement.
The top of your annual payment statement details the period of time the summary represents as well as your name, email and driver ID.
THIS IS AN EXAMPLE;
Above the monthly breakdown is your annual summary, note we have now included;
Please see the table below for a more detailed definition of each amount;

The main body of the statement breaks down your earnings throughout the tax year by month. Please remember for the month of April earnings are only from the 6th of April in 2020 and until the 4th of April 2021. The columns at the top represent the different types of earnings you have made;
At the bottom of the monthly breakdown, there is a row that totals each column so you can see the yearly amount for each type of earning.
Please see the table below for a more detailed definition of each type of earnings;
