⚙️ Account setup

You will receive an email to your account which is registered with Stuart. This email will contain the information required to set up your account to help you book and manage your shifts. When you receive the email, please follow the 'Sign up instructions' to set up your account.

When you download the app, please ensure auto-update is enabled to avoid any slot booking issues.

If you have not received an invite yet, please follow the instructions here.


📩 Invitation link

If your city is now operating WIW and you have not received an invitation via email, please fill in this form.

It may take up to 3 days for you to receive the invitation email, please keep an eye on your inbox. You can follow the instructions here to set up your account.


📝 How to filter slots (Mobile App)

To filter your slots head to the Schedule tab that can be found at the bottom left of your app. Select the Filter button on the top left and it will provide a drop-down list of filter options.

To ensure you see the filter option make sure the arrow next to the date range is pointing down ⬇️

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: Filters are dynamic and depend on the open-shifts available and your account. If a certain location or job site has been fully booked, these filters will not be available to select. Also you will be only shown filters for your transport type and fleet type.


📲 How to book a slot (Mobile App)

There are two ways to view and book available slots

  1. Head to the Dashboard tab and select Openshifts Available to choose your preferred slots.

  2. Head to the Schedule tab and select Openshifts on the top right to choose your preferred slots.

You will need to tap the slot and select Take Shift at the bottom.

ℹ️ Important information:

  • Whether you are a bike, motorbike or car courier, all shifts will be featured under "Standard-All".

  • You are able to book slots after they have started on the day. However, if you miss the check-in time frame, this will still cause check-in invalidation.

How to cancel a slot (Mobile App)

Head to My Shifts in the Schedule tab. Tap on the specific slot you’ve booked and want to cancel. At the bottom tap Release Shift and this will remove it from your schedule.

ℹ️ Important information:

  • You can cancel a slot up to 12 hours before your shift-start. Trading slots is not available on this app.

📲 How to book a slot (Desktop App)

There are two ways to book a slot:

  • 1️⃣ Head to the Dashboard tab that can be found on the top left of your screen. Available open slots will be listed. To book, you will need to hover your mouse over the slot and press Take Shift and click again to confirm the change.

  • 2️⃣ Head to the Schedule tab and you will see open slots available on various days. Hover your mouse over the days you’d like to work to see which available slots you can book. To book, you will need to hover your mouse over the slot and press Take Shift and click again to confirm the change.

How to cancel a slot (Desktop App)

To cancel a slot head to the Schedule tab that can be found on the top left of your screen. Click on the specific slot you want to cancel. At the bottom right, click the Get Shift Covered dropdown list, select Release Shift and click again to confirm the change.

Please note you can cancel a slot up to 12 hours before your shift-start. Trading slots is not available on this app.

🔢 Where to find your Stuart ID in-app:

Your Stuart ID is visible in the Profile & Settings section of the Android or iOS app.


ℹ️ App Update

To make sure you don’t have any issues during slot booking, it is important you always have the updated version of the app! It’s easier to keep your WIW app on auto-update so you don’t have to worry.

Update on Android:

  1. From the Play Store Home screen, tap the Menu icon (upper-left)

  2. Tap My Apps & Games.

  3. Tap When I Work app to update or select Update All.

Update on iOS:

  1. Open the App Store, then tap Today at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.

  3. Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to the When I Work app to update only that app
